Make a Mess | An Intuitive Art Workshop

What happens when you stop trying to make something “good” and simply let yourself create?

We'll begin by settling in with a short guided meditation and creative prompt, eyes closed, allowing your imagination to wander before putting anything on the page. When you open your eyes, it's time to play.

Choose from chalk, charcoal, ink, paint, pens, pastels, and other mixed-media materials and follow whatever catches your attention. Make marks. Layer colors. Scribble. Smudge. Paint with your fingers. Try something you've never tried before.

There is no right way to do this, and there is absolutely no need to be “an artist.” This workshop is about play, curiosity, experimentation, and reconnecting with the creative part of yourself that doesn't always get much room to come out and play.

Come prepared to get a little messy, let go of perfection, and see what happens when you give yourself permission to create without judgment.

No artistic experience necessary. Mess-making encouraged.
