Closing Reception & Artist Talk - Alternate Visions

About this event

The Museum of Northern California Art is proud to present an opportunity to meet and learn more about the artists featured in *Alternate Visions* during a closing reception on Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Join us for a conversation with Dwight Head, Valerie Birkhoff, June Daskalakis, John Angell, and Joseph and Paula Bellacera—six award-winning Northern California artists who live and work in the Davis/Sacramento area and whose work has been on display at **monca** for the past seven weeks.

Working across a diverse range of subjects, disciplines, and mediums, these artists explore everything from Prismacolor pencil, ink, oils, acrylics, and ceramics to encaustic, assemblage, collage, photography, digital art, and an array of mixed media.

This will be an opportunity to hear artists discuss their process, inspiration and drive to create, as well as ask a few questions.
