Fall Hardwoods and Conifers of Deer Creek Deer Creek Falls Trail Saturday, November 14th, 9 a.m. Come enjoy changing fall colors and a diversity of hardwood and conifer species at the Deer Creek Falls trail in the beautiful Deer Creek canyon, situated on land protected by the Northern California Regional Land Trust. We’ll hike to the fish ladder and take lunch there, looking at plants and anything we come across along the way. Our trip will be led by Noah Berg and John Kelly.

We will be carpooling from the Chico Park and Ride on Highway 99 at 9 a.m. Make sure to be there a bit early. Or, if you’d like to drive yourself, meet at the parking area on the side of Hwy 32 at 10 a.m. at the Deer Creek Falls trailhead. Make sure to sign up on Meetup so we expect you. Be sure to bring layers, sturdy shoes, food, and water.
