- ➤ PG&E announced a $1M donation to support food banks by providing about 3 million meals across 38 centers in Northern & Central California. In our area, seven food banks will receive $82,000 to aid 11 counties. Action News Now
- ➤ Oroville community is holding a fundraiser and repast service to support the funeral of Sean Allen, who was shot on New Year's Day. The funeral, scheduled for next Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Nazarene Church in Oroville, will also accept donations like diapers and gift cards for his children. Action News Now
- ➤ On Saturday, Jan. 24, the Butte County Firefighters Benevolent Foundation will host its 24th Annual Crab Feed at Chico Elks Lodge (1705 Manzanita Ave) with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy all-you-can-eat crab, sides, raffles, and auctions, and tickets are $85 for adults and $25 for children.
