- ➤ The Aaron Rodgers NorCal Fire Recovery Grant Program has opened its grant application period to help local residents recover from fire damage in Chico. Applicants should review eligibility criteria and submit their applications promptly. Action News Now
- ➤ Cal Fire’s Tehama-Glenn unit rescued a cat stuck in a tree for several days on Feb. 4 and returned it to its owner unharmed. Action News Now
- ➤ NSST plans to provide tiny homes for local individuals if city assistance is secured, placing four small eight-by-19 homes at a local church. City officials have discussed using Statute 8689 (which bypasses some rules) to expedite the shelter solution aimed at older women. Action News Now

- ➤ Chico Theater Company is presenting Hello, Dolly through Feb. 15. Director Kathy Edson says the musical will bring joyful, timeless Broadway charm with performances by Regan Penning and the cast. North State Public Radio

- ➤ Public Safety Dispatcher Wendy Vessels is honored for her 25 years with the Chico Police Department. She began her police career in 1994, was named Dispatcher of the Year three times, and now trains new dispatchers at CPD. KRCR

- ➤ Yesterday at Wellness Wednesday, Action News Now anchor Hayley Watts interviewed Dr. Gbolahan Okubadejo (a spinal and orthopedic surgeon) who explained the injury risks of improper snow shoveling this winter. Action News Now
- ➤ During National Cancer Prevention Month, Enloe officials stressed that education, screening, and vaccination are key to reducing high rates of colorectal and lung cancer in the area. The new Comprehensive Cancer Center will open in August to offer residents advanced local treatment options. KRCR
