- ➤ Plumas Bank is showcasing local artist Lenn Goldmann's watercolor paintings at its Chico branch (900 Mangrove Ave) through May 2026. The exhibit is part of a collaboration with the Museum of Northern California Art and is viewable Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Action News Now

- ➤ Almond growers in Butte County face risks as warm weather triggered early blooming — nearly two weeks ahead of schedule — and now must guard against frost from January through early March that could harm their crops. Action News Now

- ➤ The Butte County Sheriff's Search and Rescue team is getting a grant from the California Fire Foundation that will let them purchase essential safety gear (Nomex and goggles) to protect volunteers during door-to-door wildfire evacuations. Action News Now
