- ➤ Chico Police arrested 19-year-old Jason Halliday on Friday after a high-risk traffic stop on East Avenue led to the discovery of a firearm, metal knuckles, face coverings, and three replica BB firearms in his vehicle—evidence that linked him to prowling incidents on Palm Avenue. Action News Now
- ➤ Chico police said 23-year-old Hunter Thompson from Anderson was arrested for violently resisting arrest after stealing $550 in e-cigarettes from a Shell gas station store on Arby Way — authorities noted his resistance during the arrest — and further charges are under investigation. - ➤ A Chico State student was reportedly kidnapped at gunpoint before a chase and deadly shooting occurred on April 5th, and police are investigating the case. Action News Now
