- ➤ Chico firefighters contained a house fire on Spruce Avenue on Friday afternoon (April 25th) after the blaze caused moderate damage to the home while the two dogs inside (remained uninjured) despite the flames. Action News Now
- ➤ Firefighters responded to a structure fire at the art center on the Pleasant Valley High School campus on Friday afternoon & they extinguished the flames though the building still suffered damage. Action News Now
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A former CHP officer, 21-year-old Vidal Gonzalez, was arraigned today in Butte County Superior Court on charges including four counts of sexual assault and one count of felony assault following his arrest on Wednesday in Oroville—he remains in custody at Butte County Jail with his next court date set for May 7.
