- ➤ Chico State’s ARC created braille-labeled tactile brain models to help blind psychology major Joy Orlando access course materials in her Biological Psychology class. Professor Shawn Bates and advisor Casey Lyons developed the models using textured materials to improve the course for future students. Chico State Today
- ➤ California State University, Chico invites students to join the Great Wildcat Bike Count on Tuesday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to record bicycle counts and help improve campus bike parking, with survey packets available at the Office of Sustainability (Student Services Center, Room 336). - ➤ Chico State baseball beat defending CCAA champion Cal State Monterey Bay 6-1 Friday night at Nettleton Stadium before 1,264 fans. The win improved Chico State’s record to 22-21 overall and put them one game from a tournament spot; they will face Monterey Bay in a doubleheader this afternoon. Action News Now
