  • Divine Sundays brings its 3rd Annual Spring Fae Festival to the historic Patrick Ranch Museum today from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., featuring more than 100 local vendors, over 20 food trucks, live Irish music, interactive activities, and a full bar (free family event for all).  Action News Now

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Murdock Elementary held its second annual jog-a-thon on May 2 - it surpassed last year's event by raising over $9,200 in one hour.  Action News Now

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Paradise police are urging residents to plan safe transportation for Cinco de Mayo celebrations—those using alcohol, medications, cannabis or other impairing substances should designate a sober driver, and anyone who sees an impaired driver should call 911.  Action News Now

SPORTS NEWS

  • Chico State women's track team posted strong results at Friday's CCAA Championships — they earned 96.5 points and trailed Cal Poly Pomona by 12 points as athletes excelled in distance, hurdles, sprints and field events. The team competed in San Marcos on Saturday as the meet concluded.  Action News Now
  • Chico State softball swept No. 13 Cal State East Bay in a Friday doubleheader at Wildcat Softball Field even after playoff hopes ended, with Amelie Valdez pitching a shutout win followed by an extra-innings win. The Wildcats will finish the season with Senior Day Saturday.  Action News Now
