- ➤ The Willows Lamb Derby kicks off a hunt at Willows Hardware, where clues will be posted daily until the lost lamb is found and the winner earns $100. Community members are invited to join the fun search. Action News Now
- ➤ Butte County Search + Rescue has bought 7 acres at the Midway + Entler intersection in South Chico to build a new headquarters that will improve equipment storage and rescue response times. Group leaders say they are fundraising for the construction. KRCR

- ➤ PG&E announced it will conduct helicopter LiDAR surveys later this month in North Valley from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily to inspect power lines and trees. Most flights will cover Butte County and some will occur in nearby areas; customers will receive advance calls. KRCR
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Gas prices in Chico rose to $5.88 this week, a 16-cent increase from last week, while state prices have reached $6.11 as market pressures and the summer blend transition push costs higher. Action News Now
