- ➤ Orange Street is transforming into an art district as local nonprofits and businesses lead mural contests that have already added seven new murals on The Rental Guys building. - ➤ Chico State’s College of Engineering will host its annual Senior Capstone Design Expo on Friday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Colusa 100 and the Langdon Engineering Center (O’Connell Technology Center courtyard) where 100 students showcase real-world projects for industry sponsors including Medtronic, HAAS Automation and Lawrence Livermore. - ➤ Chico State's North State Student Ambassadors program helps rural students feel connected on campus by offering weekly meetings and events today. The initiative connects 12 counties with peer mentorship, research, and community outreach to support rural students as they adapt to college life. Chico State Today
- ➤ Turning Point USA returned to Chico State in April and set up a table on the Glenn Hall lawn on Tuesday (May 5), where students voiced both support and criticism and the group received online death threats. Junior Addie Snyder said the chapter has signed twenty members since its return. KRCR
