  • The rebuilt Honey Run Covered Bridge in Butte County will reopen tomorrow with a 60th Annual Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.—it has been restored as an exact replica of the original 1887 bridge lost in the Camp Fire to honor local resiliency.  KRCR

  • Chico Police are asking for help finding 9-year-old Atlas Kirkendall and 10-year-old Jovian Kirkendall who are at risk from missing prescribed medications and were last seen near W. East Avenue and Alamo Avenue on May 29 — anyone with information should call 911 or contact the department at 530-897-4911.  Action News Now

  • On Friday night, more than 500 Butte College students walked the stage for the Class of 2025—most of them completed their courses in the Fall and Winter terms while the total graduating class exceeds 1,300.  Action News Now

  • CAL FIRE Butte Unit responded on Friday at 1:05 p.m. to a small vegetation fire near the 1500 block of Oro Dam Boulevard W in Thermalito—firefighters halted the Harlan Fire’s advance by 3 p.m. and continued mopping up hot spots as they investigated the cause.  Action News Now
  • Residents in Butte County experienced poor air quality Friday due to a heatwave that increased ozone levels and turned the sky orange—officials said sensitive groups in Chico Valley and Paradise Foothills should stay indoors on Friday and Saturday while conditions are expected to improve to moderate levels by Sunday.  KRCR
