- ➤ CAL FIRE responded to a hayfield fire near School Street and Ahart Road in Honcut on Saturday afternoon and stopped its spread by 6 p.m. after an estimated 10 to 15 acres burned; crews remain on scene to manage lingering smoldering hay bales while they investigate the cause. Action News Now
