- ➤ Habitat for Humanity of Butte County hosted a wall signing event in Paradise on May 31 for two new families who will soon move into The Ridge, making them the 27th and 28th homeowners since the 2018 Camp Fire. Community members signed the wall with messages of hope and officials said the homes are expected to be completed by year-end. KRCR
- ➤ A shooting range in north Chico hosted an event at the end of May to honor first responders and veterans—community leaders say the gathering celebrated local service. Action News Now
