- ➤ On Sunday, the Butte County Sheriff's Office held an annual pancake breakfast at the rebuilt Honey Run Covered Bridge to revive a cherished tradition lost in the Camp Fire of 2018 — organizers said the fundraiser marked a sign of community renewal. Congressman Doug LaMalfa and residents including bicyclist William Audley attended and noted that 30 gallons of pancake batter were used to celebrate the historic reopening — evidence of the town's progress. - ➤ The Honey Run Covered Bridge in Butte Creek Canyon has been rebuilt after its destruction during the Camp Fire, and local officials celebrated its reopening with an annual community pancake breakfast. The National Weather Service in Sacramento issued a Red Flag Warning today from 2 AM to 8 PM for gusty winds and low humidity that may cause fires to spread quickly. Action News Now
- ➤ Sandi Castellano ended Chico's Pug Sunday rescue program at Hooker Oak Park after helping rehome over 200 pugs since 2001 and due to health and financial issues. The Durham Doggie Posse will take over the program to help find new homes for pugs while she continues caring for her two pets. Action News Now
