- ➤ CAL FIRE in partnership with the California Department of Water Resources and State Parks will conduct a control burn on June 24 at Loafer Creek State Recreation Area to clear 19 acres of hazardous fire fuel—this project aims to protect East Oroville and Kelly Ridge from major wildfires while removing invasive plants to restore native species.
