- ➤ A shooting incident at a Hamilton City fireworks stand on Hwy 32 and Sacramento Ave drew multiple law enforcement responses on Friday evening — the Glenn County Sheriff's Office said more details will be provided on Monday. Action News Now

- ➤ On July 4th, a vegetation fire started in oak woodland near the 170 block of District Center Drive in Palermo, and residents were ordered to evacuate. CAL FIRE Butte County deployed two engines, one hand crew, and two water tenders—ensuring no homes were damaged and no injuries were reported. Action News Now
- ➤ CAL FIRE said the Grove Fire near Bangor burned 78 acres and reached 75% containment on Saturday — all evacuation orders were lifted. Firefighters used 29 engines, four hand crews, two water tenders, two helicopters, and three dozers to battle the fire. Action News Now
