- ➤ CAL FIRE contained the White Fire off Neal Rd. southwest of Paradise on Saturday, August 9 after the vegetation fire started at 4:22 p.m. and grew to 0.2 acres, with one tanker, a hand crew and fire engine companies stopping its forward progress — crews remain on scene on White Springs Road.
