- ➤ Veronica Perotti—a 19-year-old nursing student—was beaten to death in her Chico apartment on West 2nd Ave in June 1984 and her family now offers a $50,000 reward for any information that helps solve her unsolved murder. Action News Now

- ➤ The Upham Fire is burning near Rackerby in Butte County and is reported to cover 1/4 to 1/2 an acre— it started just after 5 p.m. in grass and now threatens nearby structures. Action News Now

- ➤ Chico will hold a public workshop tomorrow at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers to gather resident input for the Downtown Revitalization Project.
