  • On Saturday, the ARC of Butte County invited local families to attend First Responders Day at Chico Marketplace where kids learned about the work of firefighters & law enforcement officers who help keep the community safe.  Action News Now
  • On Saturday, community members tested their firearm skills with Sheriff Kory Honea at the Openshaw Training Center near Oroville—this fundraiser helped support the BCSO Mounted Posse and improve the training facility.  Action News Now
  • On September 14, a charity golf tournament at Gold Hills Golf Club raised cancer research funds for the Luis Miramontes Foundation. The foundation will build the Louie House—its new project to support families staying near loved ones undergoing treatment at Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center.  Action News Now
