- ➤ On September 29, True North Housing Alliance received $45,000 in donations from anonymous supporters - it is still trying to raise an extra $415,000 to cover the $2.5 million Howard Slater Navigation Center. Action News Now

- ➤ Chico Ice Rink will open seven days a week from November through January and offers sponsorship packages (ranging from $500 to $20,000) to help local businesses gain brand recognition on signage and social media. Downtown sponsors can enjoy a discount package (covering dasher board ads, event tickets, and online mentions) as the rink prepares to attract thousands of visitors during the holiday season. - ➤ Crews from the City of Chico will clear homeless camps at three sites—per the Warren v. Chico Homeless Settlement Agreement—as part of court-ordered actions to address homelessness.
