- ➤ Chico held its third annual Stuff the Truck toy drive and car show on Saturday at Concourse Elite Collision Center to collect new, unwrapped toys for the Salvation Army—gaining strong community support. Bob Fitzgerald said people could drop off toys until Tuesday noon and noted that classic cars added a nostalgic touch to the event. Action News Now
- ➤ Downtown Chico will come alive with holiday cheer tomorrow—local shops are hosting sales, decorations and live performances for a festive Christmas Preview event. Action News Now

- ➤ Veterans' art from across Northern California is on display at the Museum of Northern California Art as part of the fifth annual Veterans Art Exhibition—opened Saturday and set to conclude Nov 30. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Residents in Butte County were notified of permissive burn days that took place on Saturday and are allowed today for outdoor residential burning in specific areas. Burning is permitted in Paradise (with a Paradise Fire Department permit) and in Upper Ridge and Magalia from 8:45 a.m. until one hour before sunset while burning remains prohibited in Chico; residential burning in the unincorporated Chico Sphere of Influence is allowed only on lots of at least 0.90 acre and fire agency permits (with burn hours as listed on the permit) are required in Biggs, Gridley, and Oroville.
