ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ USDA announced a $700 million regenerative agriculture pilot program to offer grants enhancing soil health (funding comes from the Environmental Quality Incentives and Conservation Stewardship Programs). - ➤ CAL FIRE began a controlled burn Monday and is continuing today at Doe Mill Ridge between Forest Ranch and Magalia to remove hazardous fuels over (30 acres) as part of its Vegetation Management Program with local partners and careful weather monitoring to reduce wildfire risk. Action News Now
